Parenting is said to be the toughest job for which we receive the least training. Practicing Parents is here to offer support, information, and friendship to everyone who raises children, whatever you circumstances or situation. Practicing Parents is the brainchild of Daoud Edris and Katijah Shanta (and their extended family).
The site was built to as a forum where parents young and old, men and women, of all denominations, creed and colour could share their experiences, chat, have fun and make friends. The underlying principal is to be a support to parents everywhere, because parents are the most important thing in a child’s life.
Here you will find practical and expert advice to help you deal with demanding situations, giving you the confidence and structure to enjoy life with your kids. If you need advice, if you have something to share, if you are looking for a professional opinion about parenting and raising children, we are here to help.
As parents, we know that family life can be challenging at times and immensely rewarding too. This site is brought to you with the invaluable assistance of our family and regular contributors. We support parents, so that you can do your best for your children.
We look forward to getting to know you better and hope you will become part of our ever growing community of Practicing Parents!
